PinPointMe app for iPhone and iPad

This simple to use free location pin pointing app ideal if you need to easily share a specific location with one or more of your contacts.

Key features inc.
• The ability to use standard gestures to zoom in on the map
• Tap and hold the pin to have it float under your finger to re-position the pointer to either correct for GPS inaccuracies or simply to better mark the ideal position.
• Tap on the pin to view the geographical coordinates of the position pin pointed, enter a brief message and then select one or more contacts to send the information too via SMS (text message).
• The SMS message will also include a link to the position on to enable the recipient to view a map on their device using the standard map application and therefore be able to access turn-by-turn directions etc to guide them to the pin pointed location.
• Shaking the device then will reset the pin to your devices current GPS position.

This app uses a combination of the GPS feature of your compatible smartphone or other mobile device along with WiFi to pin point your position. Depending on signal quality accuracy can vary. Furthermore, such technologies are typically heavy on your battery.
